Prayer for Medical Warriors

It’s now 4 am, and I’ve been up for a bit in league with Holy Spirit to write out this prayer for the medical warriors. Now it’s your turn my friends. Please pray this prayer in agreement with me, and please comment any medical professional you know, and I will add them to my prayer list as well. Thanks friends! Much love!

Yahweh Rapha, The Lord Who Heals! We glorify Your name! We are grateful that You heal bodies and souls. You are the Lord who pardons iniquities and heals all our diseases. We honor and praise Your Name. We are grateful that You not only created our bodies to fight infection, but that You step in when an infection or injury becomes too much for our body to fight alone. You are a giver of life!

We thank You today for those that You’ve called to operate in mercy and partner with You in healing. Today we join our faith to uplift those who’ve answered the call to work in the health care arena. The medical warriors. Nurses. Doctors. Aides. CNAs. Orderlies. Assistants. Administrators. Techs. We lift them up all up to you today. We thank You that they are gifts to us from You. We thank You for their hearts to care for us and serve the sick, wounded, and vulnerable.

We ask that you grant them Your perfect peace. We declare that that their hearts will not be troubled nor afraid. In every circumstance they will remain calm, and be granted courage and strength in heart and in body. We thank You that no evil will befall them, nor any sickness come hear their homes. As they are caring for those whose bodies are fighting infection, we declare that their immune systems will be strengthened. We join our faith to declare that even though there are tens, hundreds or even thousands that may fall ill around these medical warriors, it will not come near them. They and their families will remain healthy and protected.

We uplift the doctors, therapists, and their teams who work in offices forced to close. We ask for supernatural provision to pay their bills and provide for their families. You are Yahweh Yireh! You are the God who provides. We thank You for providing for these teams while they are unable to work.

We ask Your wisdom be granted to the decision makers of hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, rehab facilities, other medical centers, and pharmacies to make the best possible decisions for every employee and every patient. We thank You that when You grant wisdom it is liberally given without reproach. Thank You Father for leading the leaders.

For the medical warriors on the front lines, we thank You for supernatural strengthening of their bodies. We thank You for true rest when they are sleeping and home with their families. We thank You that You guard their families, and do not allow illness nor stress to follow them home. We ask for supernatural joy to be released, especially when nurses, aides & doctors are tired and on long shifts. As these teams are meeting needs for others, we ask that You provide for their needs. Masks. Gloves. Protective gear. Rest. Encouragement. Snacks. Safe child care. Help at home with cleaning, grocery shopping, or whatever else they may need. You know individual needs and we thank You that you are Yahweh Yireh, the God who provides what we need when we need it.

Jesus, I ask You to tend to those in my life who are medical warriors and I invite Holy Spirit to change the atmosphere of the facilities they work in to one of joy, peace & hope, that they may abound in hope by the power of Holy Spirit. Thank You for loving them more and better than I can.

I lift them and their coworkers to you now, by name.
